TO CONFIRM A BOOKING

To confirm a booking a deposit of £25 per person is required within one week of making a booking, along with contact details (name, home & e-mail addresses and telephone numbers). For a single night booking full payment is required. We accept cheques, credit and debit cards, PayPal and BACS payments.
Either confirm over the telephone using your credit card or please print off the booking form, complete and send to 'Huxtable Farm, West Buckland, Barnstaple, Devon EX32 0SR' with a Cheque made payable to HUXTABLE FARM. Alternatively you can fax the completed booking form to 01598 760254.
To pay by PayPal or Credit card via PayPal's secure payment website please e-mail to let me know with your address/contact details so that I can issue you an invoice (there is an additional £3.00 charge for this method of payment).
To pay by BACS please contact me to let me know so that I can give you Huxtable Farm's bank details.
When we receive your deposit and booking form a confirmation letter or e-mail will be sent to you so that each party has something in writing confirming the booking.
When you make your booking and we have received the required deposit to secure the booking, a legally binding contract exists between us that is non-cancellable and non-refundable, except in exceptional circumstances, please read our cancellation policy below.

PRICES

The price of the accommodation includes breakfast and the following: Electricity, towels, linen, room serviced each day, hot water, central heating, use of TV, WiFi internet connection, radio alarm clock, tea & coffee tray, and a variety of toiletries

CANCELLATION POLICY AND INSURANCE

When you make your booking and we have received the required deposit to secure the booking, a legally binding contract exists between us that is non-cancellable and non-refundable, except in exceptional circumstances, you may still remain liable to pay in full (no charge for food) or part of the booking, even where you have not paid in full at the time of cancellation.
Please note that your deposit is not refundable under any circumstances. In the event of a cancellation, both parties should endeavour to re-let the accommodation and if successful we will make a refund of the monies paid less the deposit. Should neither party succeed, then the person making the reservation is legally liable to pay two thirds of the total value of the booking. We would recommend that you take out cancellation insurance to cover this cost.

NON-AVAILABILITY OF ACCOMMODATION

We would only cancel your holiday if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would however attempt to offer you alternative accommodation. If this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by you for the holiday. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.

ARRIVAL

Your accommodation will be available to you from 3pm on the day of arrival, please advise us if you intend to arrive after 6pm or if you wish to check in before 3pm.

LATE ARRIVAL PROCEDURE

Please ensure you contact us no later than 6pm to let us know if you will be arriving late. Failure to notify us may result in the room being re-let or the full cost of the room being charged to your credit card.

DEPARTURE

You are requested to vacate your room by 10.30am on the day of departure, unless otherwise arranged. We will provide you with an invoice, payable on departure for any additional services you may have used during your stay.

DAMAGES AND BREAKAGES

Please take care when staying in our property. You are responsible for the cost of any breakages or damages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents. All we ask is that you report any incidents as they occur and leave the room in a clean and tidy condition. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may send you an invoice for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant. No rebates will be given for mechanical failure of any kind and every effort will be made to effect repairs.

LIABILITY

We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.

PRIVACY POLICY

Any data collected during the course of this booking will be stored on our computer. With your permission we may from time to time contact you about promotions and offers. If you prefer not to be contacted please let us know and we will remove you from our mailing list. We will not share your details with any third party. Huxtable Farm's website contains links to other sites, please be aware that we are not responsible for the privacy practices of these sites and encourage you to read the privacy statements of websites that collect personally identifiable information. Huxtable Farm's website does not use cookies to track your personal information, however we do use Google Analytics to monitor traffic levels to Huxtable Farm's website.
